The Riders Alliance is a membership organization of subway and bus riders in New York, dedicated to winning better transit by organizing riders into a powerful political constituency.
We're hiring Part-time Outreach Representatives!
The Riders Alliance is seeking responsible and outgoing people to conduct community outreach in Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan, with specific campaigns in Flushing, Jamaica, and Woodhaven, and Bed-Stuy. This position is perfect for students or individuals with flexible schedules looking to engage different communities in New York City on important campaigns for bus and subway improvements.
The outreach representative will work with our canvassing director and organizers to coordinate canvassing operations. You will be briefed about the campaigns and trained in community outreach techniques.
Compensation: $12/hr plus a metro card stipend
