The Position: We are seeking an Associate to support engagements in our Sacramento Region office in Davis. The successful candidate will have a graduate education in city planning, public policy, business/finance, or equivalent, with an emphasis on quantitative and/or financial analysis. This position requires 1 to 3 years of progressive professional experience, including preparation of reports for public distribution and in-depth analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience and knowledge of the Northern California real estate and development markets, public policies, and the legal framework affecting planning and land use, are all required.
BAE seeks a generalist with knowledge and experience across multiple topics in urban development, along with one or more specializations such as P3, public finance, economic development, or affordable housing. Prior consulting experience is a plus. The successful candidate will receive extensive training and mentoring in all aspects of BAE’s consulting practice, and will have opportunity for advancement within the company.
