Time Bilingual Field Interviewer
The School of Social Service
Administration at The University of Chicago is
currently seeking a part time, temporary, field interviewer to conduct research
interviews with study participants. This is an exciting two-year project
that will examine the efficacy of a clinical innovation to advance home
visiting services.
Job
Description: Under close supervision, the interviewer
will help with research tasks that include: screening, consenting, and tracking
study participants; setting up interview appointments; and, conducting and
recording research interviews.
Interviews are conducted in participants’ homes.
Qualifications and Requirements
· High School diploma (Bachelor's degree or college coursework
in social science or related field preferred)
· Previous data collection or field interviewing experience
highly preferred
· Proficiency with computers and access to the internet
· Access to a car and proper driver’s license and insurance
coverage
- Must be available to work approximately 10 - 15
hours/week on a flexible schedule including week nights and weekends.
Work hours will vary by week
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
- Good communication skills
- Good people’s skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Background check will be required
Job Location: Interviews
will take place in participants’ homes in different neighborhoods in the
Chicago metropolitan area.
Compensation: This is
an hourly rate position. Hourly rate is
$15.
