Job Description: The City of El Segundo is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Planner. The Assistant Planner, under limited supervision, is responsible for performing professional-level current and/or long range planning work. The current vacancy for Assistant Planner is a full-time position in the Planning Division of the Planning and Building Safety Department, and is represented by the City Employees' Association (CEA).
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Planning, Environmental Design, Architecture or a related field; and two (2) years of planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
