Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. (ADP) is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit entity charged with management of the Downtown Improvement District (DID). Our Purpose is to assure a vibrant downtown. Our Vision is by 2020, ADP is the catalyst for downtown development. Currently, we are seeking a new Executive Director.

The successful candidate will possess a “for-profit” mentality and entrepreneurial skills. A successful track record of revenue generation and revenue growth will be critical, and the ideal candidate will be motivated by the financial reward that comes from successful outcomes.

The Executive Director, an exempt position, is the chief operating officer of ADP and has the power to transact day-to-day business for the company, within established policy guidelines. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of ADP and is the primary contact with the community. The Executive Director develops and implements programs and strategies, approved by the Board of Directors, to meet quantifiable goals. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and works closely with the Board, its standing committees, and ADP staff/contractors to achieve the Vision of the company; ensures that the company remains fiscally sound; and maintains the highest ethical standards.
