Full-time position including benefits package. Grade 25; $48,635/yr+ DOE.
Closing date: 6/11/2015.
Performs various professional planning services to include: 
  • Providing technical and professional advice to public regarding the Town General Plan, policies and processes; 
  • Serves as liaison; 
  • Processes various applications; 
  • Facilitates Citizen Review Processes; creates presentations, including recommendations to the Town Planning and Zoning Commission; develops and prepares ordinances and resolutions for review and consideration; 
  • Conducts site inspections and field research regarding development proposals;
  • Facilitates and tracks the process of commercial plan review, development agreements and special projects; actively participates in submittal of grant applications and management of grant funded programs; and applies the principles & elements of the Unified Development Ordinance to work product.
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning and public administration or a closely related field and four years of professional planning experience in planning, zoning, annexations and/or urban development or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
