TENURE TRACK POSITION IN PUBLIC MANAGEMENT 

The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University seeks to appoint a tenure-track assistant professor in the area of public management on the Bloomington campus. Exceptional candidates at the associate or full professor rank will also be considered. The search is open to those who exhibit a variety of approaches to management, including the broader study of public institutions and organizations.We are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching interests focus upon non-traditional governance structures, public innovation, environmental management, human capital and organizational behavior, managerial aspects of policymaking, and/or intergovernmental or cross-sector management.A comparative and/or international focus and professional experience in government or public affairs is desirable.

Scholars with demonstrated success at securing research funding and other forms of distinction are encouraged to apply. Applicants must present evidence of high quality research and an ambitious research program, an interest in professional service applications, and a strong commitment to high quality teaching. ThePh.D. or an equivalent terminal degree in a related field (e.g., public administration, public affairs, political science, public policy, public law, management, sociology, or psychology) is required.
