Cardno ENTRIX is an environmental and natural resource management consultancy providing a broad suite of services in Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Management, Permitting & Compliance, and Liability Management. Clients turn to Cardno ENTRIX for help navigating complex environmental, natural resource, and business challenges because of our creative problem-solving and the successful track record of our multidisciplinary team.
Cardno ENTRIX is seeking an Environmental Planner and a Senior Environmental Planner in settings that are not urban, primarily rural and natural settings which could include wetlands, riparian habitat, or wilderness, to assist multidisciplinary teams in a wide range of projects including environmental impact reports, environmental impact statements, and environmental permit processes, for energy projects, such as pipelines, transmission lines, power plants and hydro-electric facilities.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
> Managing multi-disciplinary assignments 
> Managing large sub-consultants teams
> Coordinating environmental technical studies
> Preparing general and technical sections of project reports and proposals
Basic Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, natural resource management, planning or related field.  Master’s degree required for Senior Environmental Planner
> Five years of relevant professional experience required for the Environmental Planner.  Ten to Fifteen years of relevant professional experience  required for the Senior Environmental Planner
> Experience working on natural resources or energy projects such as pipelines, transmission lines, power plants, and/or hydro-electric facilities required
> Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA requirements and implementations
> Knowledge of pertinent environmental regulations
> Excellent oral and written communication skills
> Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
> Ability to periodically travel to field sites and other Cardno ENTRIX offices throughout the U.S.

> Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
> Positive and energetic attitude
> Self-motivated; strong initiative
> Detail oriented; resourceful
> Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) is a plus
