Manages, plans, and directs the functions of the Development Services Department, through the work of professional, technical and administrative staff associated with: 
  • Land use planning, zoning, and land development. 
  • Development permitting and inspection 
  • Building permitting and inspection 
  • Geographic Information Systems 
  • Code Enforcement and business license
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Planning, Public Administration, GIS, Engineering, or other related field. 
  • A minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible experience related to planning and development 
  • AICP certification /eligible preferred
