JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs a variety of functions within the Collections Division, such as comprehensive coordination for the issuance of all Village licenses and real estate transfer stamps, payment collection and communication of various village programs, and front-line customer interaction via phone, CSR, email, or in-person contact.  To be successful in this role, candidates will need to effectively and clearly communicate to a full range of people, and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.

4 Open Positions - Chicago Regional Census Center

Who: The U.S. Census Bureau’s Chicago Regional Census Center is hiring a Clerk, Census Recruiter, Media Specialist, and a Regional Technician

What:
Clerk: The individual selected for this position will:
  • Perform administrative activities such as following up on requests for information, ensure the correct material is provided, and distribution of office materials and incoming mail. Maintain correspondence files. 
  • Monitor personnel/payroll processing activities, resolve and recommend corrective actions using an automated system. 
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, answer inquiries regarding office procedures, respond to multiple customer demands.  
  • Create memoranda and correspondence, review for accuracy and procedural compliance on personnel and payroll documentation based on rough drafts or verbal instructions. 
  • Use office automation software such as database or spreadsheet to enter, revise, sort or calculate, and retrieve data; graphics software to provide graphic symbols, charts and graphs.  
  • Operate various office machines such as the copy machine. 

Salary: $36,896 to $47,967 per year

Census Recruiter: The individual selected for this position will:
  • Develop, organize, manage, and implement the recruitment program, activities, and functions of the excepted service employees of the Regional Census Center. 
  • Develop a strategic plan for recruitment programs, operations, and goals for the Regional Census Center. 
  • Conduct or participate in group recruiting sessions. 
  • Analyze and monitor progress, performance and cost data of a recruitment program to ensure recruitment operations are within specific time limits and budget constraints. 
Salary: $55,905 to $105,392 per year

Planner - Village of Homer Glen (CLOSES 2/8)

Who: Village of Homer Glen - Planning and Zoning Department

What: The Village’s Planner performs professional level planning activities including: research and analysis of technical information, assisting the public in applying planning and zoning regulations, administering the Village’s Zoning Code, coordinating development applications and site plan reviews, assisting with special and long-range planning projects, preparing text amendments to existing zoning regulations, and providing superior quality customer service. Position is responsible for providing GIS support to all Village departments.  The Village’s Planner serves as staff liaison to the Village’s Plan Commission and Environment Committee.  Work is performed under deadlines and requires attendance at public meetings, which are predominantly held during evening hours.

Policy Specialist – The University of Illinois System, Office of Business and Financial Services

Management Assistant - Department of Defense - Temp Position (North Chicago)

What: This position is a TERM not to exceed 13 months. Responsibilities:

  • Provide management analysis support for the Department of Defense (DOD) Accession Program.

Residential Consultant Responsibilities

·     Conduct on-site showings for Luxury Living Chicago Realty exclusive rental properties
·     Manage client communications for exclusive rental properties, including email and phone calls
·     Execute Luxury Living Chicago’s work-flow process from application to lease signing
·     Maintain a constant flow of communication with Project Manager and Director of Operations
·     Use Luxury Living Chicago provided technology tools for scheduling, data tracking, and reporting
·     Analyze property performance and present pricing and marketing recommendations
·     Communicate information about model units, property needs, property management concerns, and tenant questions to Project Manager

Skills and Requirements
·     Bachelors degree with some real estate, hospitality, or customer service experience
