NATURE OF WORK:
The Economic Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the City
of Evanston’s economic development programs and initiatives. This includes working directly with
businesses to retain and expand their operations in the community. The Economic Development
Coordinator will also develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as elected
officials, community leaders, and business executives. This position initiates, coordinates, directs,
and implements activities, programs, and projects that support retail, office, and industrial

PD&R is responsible for providing advice and information to the Secretary to further his policy agenda; for maintaining current information to monitor housing needs, housing market conditions, and the operation of existing programs; and for conducting research on priority housing and community development issues.

The Office of Economic Affairs, Economic and Market Analysis Division, within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy Development and Research, is responsible for collecting data, conducting economic research, developing economic models, and performing evaluation and policy analysis in the following areas: economic, fiscal, and social conditions in cities and other communities; strategies to promote economic development in cities and other communities; the impact of taxes and tax changes on housing markets and urban conditions; and the low income housing tax credit.

Who: The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is seeking to hire full-time employees at the Assistant level in the Local Planning Department, with an emphasis on long range planning, research and analysis, economic development and market analysis, or municipal/county government.

What: CMAP seeks Assistants to be part of a large department and provide technical and professional support of CMAP’s long-range comprehensive regional planning, the Local Technical Assistance (LTA) program, and research, data analysis, and mapping work to contribute to the agency’s long-range and local planning efforts. Planning projects may include comprehensive plans, corridor or subarea plans, zoning revisions, studies of special topics such as housing or economic development, and similar planning activities. Research and Analysis projects may include GIS mapping, data processing, quantitative spatial analyses, and the development and documentation of new business intelligence tools and products, and methodologies for quantitative analysis.

Residential Consultants conduct on-site showings, manage client follow-up, and track client and property data for Luxury Living Chicago Realty’s portfolio of exclusive multifamily properties. The Residential Consultant will be assigned to one (1) or two (2) luxury properties currently in lease-up and reports to the Project Manager associated with each property.

Residential Consultant Responsibilities

·     Conduct on-site showings for Luxury Living Chicago Realty exclusive rental properties
·     Manage client communications for exclusive rental properties, including email and phone calls
·     Execute Luxury Living Chicago’s work-flow process from application to lease signing
·     Maintain a constant flow of communication with Project Manager and Director of Operations

Experience Required | Successful candidates will possess strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis and a passion for real estate, urban development and policy. Senior Analyst


Position Description | We are seeking candidates for Senior Analysts in our growing new Texas office, which serves clients nationally. Successful candidates will have relevant project management experience in real estate, economic development and related consulting fields, must demonstrate critical analytic thinking skills to serve our clients, possess a passion for intelligent urban development and a deep curiosity about the challenges and opportunities facing cities. Day-to-day tasks will require managing internal and external teams to complete complex real estate and economic assignments including pro forma analysis for a range of uses, market feasibility research, fiscal and economic impact studies, public-private partnership strategy, and public policy design. The Senior Analyst will review and present client deliverables, including memos, reports and PowerPoint presentations; and will support the firm’s business development efforts. The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation of real estate expertise and an interest in creative public-private solutions, as well as significant capacity for leadership.
Experience Required | Candidate should have a minimum of four to five years of work experience in real estate finance, development, public policy and/or consulting in a related field. Candidates should also have a Master’s Degree, preferably in real estate, city planning and/or economic development. Considerable additional experience in a closely-related field may also be substituted for a graduate degree. Preference will be given to candidates whose experience includes project management for consulting engagements in a relevant field.

Proficiency and a working knowledge of ArcGIS and its applications are also desirable.
Qualifications 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Masters degree with an academic concentration in real estate, urban studies, planning, business, or urban economics. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in planning, real estate, or related profession with some experience in real estate development economics, market analysis, financial analysis, data collection and research. Urban revitalization and redevelopment experience is desirable, as would be previous consulting experience. AICP certification is desired.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing project tasks and should possess:

Position Summary
