Real Estate Development Project Coordinator

The Real Estate Development Project Coordinator reports to the Senior Development Director at the company’s Naperville, Illinois office, and manages due diligence and the coordination of new real estate development projects. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for managing municipal research, preparation of due diligence reports, initial site planning and the project sub consultants from inception to construction. Additional responsibilities include the development and maintenance of project schedules, and preparation of municipal applications and submittal packages.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Candidates for this position should have a degree in Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or other related field, and the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Candidates should have three to five years’ experience in related fields, with a general understanding of real estate development, building and site design; have a working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and municipal approvals/permits and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should also have the ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients; ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities. Candidates will have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
