 PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is a highly collaborative role within the division and the agency.  Responsible for analyzing the critical issues facing older and disabled adults as they access the region’s human services transportation system, identifying areas of need, prototyping innovations and integrating key lessons and findings into the region’s human services transportation planning and funding processes.  Current projects include the implementation of a One-click web-based software program to enhance access and choice for all non-drivers in the region, prototyping innovations in service delivery through a partnership with the Department of Human Services and DeKalb county, facilitating coordination and program of work with local mobility managers, supporting voucher programs, travel training and flex route programs.  This position is also charged with seeking new opportunities including grant opportunities, working with other transportation and planning professionals within ARC and the region to adopt best practices and inform future plans.  Performs other related duties as assigned.
 TRAINING & EXPERIENCE DESIRED(equivalent combination acceptable): Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning or related field and three years of experience supervising activities, preferable in a public agency environment.  Master’s preferred. Individuals who apply should have not only subject matter expertise but experience with program development, project management, data analysis and outcome measurements. Knowledge of marketing, record-keeping, contract and budget administration, and regional transportation resources desirable; excellent time management skills; must have working knowledge of geographic information systems; must have experience with program and data analysis and outcome development and measurements; strong proficiency in standard office equipment, MS Office and related software applications.
 ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:$52,808 - $89,456 (no SS deduction except for Medicare portion-approx. 1.45% of salary)
