Introduction

The City of Arvada Community Development Department is looking for an innovative individual to help strengthen and sustain our balanced, growing, and diverse community. The Director of Community Development will be responsible for the Community Development Department and will play a key role in strategic planning and policy development for the City of Arvada. They will provide leadership and direction for the Community Development Department and its divisions including:
  • City Planning and Development
  • Housing Preservation and Resources
  • Neighborhood Services (code compliance)

Salary

$110,296 - $143,900 ($9,191.00 - $11,991.00 monthly)

Education and Experience

Master’s Degree in Planning or Related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience and ten (10) years of experience in areas relating to public and private sector planning. 5 years of supervisory experience required. AICP designation preferred.
