Small Los Angeles Area consulting firm working with hospitality industry clients, seeks individual to assist with site research, information analysis, plan review/revision, and preparation of documents required to file conditional use permits, land use entitlement applications and related documents with city planning offices. Other responsibilities may include site visits, attendance at city planning offices, council offices, neighborhood and community meetings.
Candidate must be self disciplined, detail oriented, organized and possess excellent research, written and oral communication skills. Direct experience with a city planning department required, experience and familiarity with City of Los Angeles Planning favorable.
Requirements:
Bachelors or masters degree with municipal or private sector experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
1 – 3 years experience
Available for evening meetings
Must have reliable transportation.
Compensation : $25.00/hr.
