The Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) at University of Oregon invites applicants for a full‐time, one academic year, non‐renewable Visiting Faculty position to participate in teaching, curriculum development, and research in the program of Community and Regional Planning. The visiting faculty is expected to teach six courses including Introduction to Planning, Research Methods, and electives based on interests (e.g., Sustainable Transportation, Land Use/Land Development, Housing, Natural Resources Policy, etc). He or she is also expected to provide general advising help for students’ professional projects.
The appointment is expected to commence in September 2015. The minimum qualification is Ph.D. (ABD candidates eligible) in Planning or related field. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to taking an active role in service to the department. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and applications from minority candidates are encouraged.
