Bickerdike Dev. Corp. (PT through June 2013) - Chicago
POSITION TITLE: Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors/Testing the Model Data Coordinator
PAY RANGE/GRADE: Commensurate with experience/Grade 5
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors/Testing The Model Data
Coordinator (TTMDC) is responsible for the overall collection, entry and management and
tracking of data received for the program work and administrative data received from the
various sources identified. In all instances the TTMDC must perform in accordance with and be
committed to the Bickerdike mission. This is a part‐time position totaling 15 hours per week
through June 2013. Position renewal may be possible, contingent upon funding.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with program providers to collect attendance, participation, and results data from
Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors/TTM efforts.
2. Enter program data into the relevant data system.
3. Collect relevant consent forms for data use.
4. Work with program providers to ensure they properly enter their data into the data system.
5. Work with the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC) to complete
monthly data dashboards that report on the work to date.
6. Work with CLOCC and/or evaluators to prepare data for their use.
7. Remain up to date on changes to key software programs and data collection systems.
8. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work with diverse set of providers and partners. Strong
computer skills; experience with database programs, GIS, and Constant Contact a strong plus.
Preference for candidates with experience or expertise in public health and/or obesity
prevention initiatives. Strong time management and organizational skills needed. Must be
willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. Women and minority
candidates especially encouraged to apply.
REPORTING RELATIONS: Under the direct supervision of the Program Director – NCP. In
the absence of this supervisor, shall report to the Executive Director.
