Redevelopment Specialist, City of Urbana (Urbana, IL)

The Redevelopment Specialist works under the supervision of the Economic Development Manager and is responsible for understanding and promoting all activities and programs within the Economic Development Division of the Community Development Department and assisting and supporting business growth while establishing and utilizing positive and effective working relationships with both new and existing customers.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience working for a public or private agency with a primary focus on economic development, redevelopment, urban planning, commercial real estate, marketing, or public administration affecting the community. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
