The Internship Experience
An internship with CTA offers students a career advantage. In addition to providing students with hands-on, real-world experience, it enables interns to integrate and utilize knowledge and skills from the classroom, discover where further competencies are needed, and become better acclimated to the discipline of the workplace. Students are guided by experts who can help them acquire the skills, knowledge and experience needed to perform in today’s technologically demanding careers.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning Internship Primary Responsibilities

% Time Responsibility
25% Assist Recruitment & Workforce Planning in driving the recruitment process forward by ensuring timely and accurate support;
25% Maintain, establish and implement short- and long-term organizational diversity recruitment objectives and practices in accordance with identified Diversity and EEO hiring goals;
15% Develop and co-manage relationships and partnership with third party organizations, institutions and community groups, in an effort to further CTA’s diversity program;
20% Produce correspondence, reports and presentation using appropriate office software
15% Performs other various administrative task as assigned.

Position Requirements & Experience

q Major: Human Resources Management or applicable field of study
q Educational Level: Junior or above
q Availability: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
q Work experience and/or research in the area of Human Resources or applicable
q Working basic knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of Human Resources
q Strong communication, presentation and computer skills

Internship Program Requirements

q Full-time college enrollment status
q Provide an official school transcript
q Pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate Degree (Minimum 12 credit hours for undergraduate and 6 credit hours for Graduates)
q Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
q Be eligible to work in the United States
