Minimum Requirements: Candidate must have a scientific, planning, or engineering degree at an accredited university, at least 3+ years of experience in the environmental planning field, and have good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong quantitative and qualitative capabilities are required. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong verbal, written communication skills, Candidates who are (i) self motivated and responsive; (ii) enjoy working in teams; (iii) have an interest in being exposed to a wide variety of major environmental and planning projects in southern California are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
The candidate will assist the Environmental Planning Department on various projects. The qualified applicant will be responsible for supporting project planners in project related tasks. These may include, but are not limited to: technical research, development of maps and figures, preparation of sections of environmental documents, document review and production, project management support, and other similar tasks.
