Job Description
Working for Local Government Services and assigned to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in Oakland, California, the person in this position will act as support staff for the management and operation of the Clipper customer service center. Responsibilities include: responding to customer and public inquiries and complaints, coordination with Clipper customer service center to resolve customer service issues, providing reports on customer service center statistics and metrics, improving customer relations management.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and completion of, at the minimum, 30 units of college level coursework related to transportation, regional or city planning, economics, public finance, business or public administration, computer science or related discipline (an Associate’s degree is desirable). Plus, completion of a minimum of three years of experience in providing customer relations management, data analysis and related support in a planning or similar work environment; or a bachelor’s degree and one year experience in a field related to the position.
