providing services in the three program areas of early childhood development,

CCLC (Community School) programs throughout Chicago, Cicero and Aurora. These programs offer before-and after-school
activities for students and their families with the goals of improving academic
achievement, increasing positive behavior and building skills.
This
position will support and coordinate the evaluation process for Family Focus’s
21st CCLC programs. Responsibilities for this position include data
management and program evaluation. Additionally, this manager position provides
support to other program areas in data collection, data management and program
evaluation.

Manage the CitySpan database utilized by the Community School programs
including monitoring for completion and accuracy.

The Village of Winnetka is an established North Shore suburban community, located approximately 20 miles north of Chicago. The Public Works Department has 31.5 FTEs and a fiscal year 2015 departmental budget of $17.9 million; it is also largely responsible for implementation of the Capital Improvements Program. In all, the Public Works Department manages and maintains over 58 miles of roadway, 109 miles of sewer lines, provides refuse collection to approximately 4,000 households, reviews over 200 development plans annually, and cares for thousands of parkway trees.

Candidate Profile Requirements
•Belief in the talent and skills of Chicago’s young people and a passion
for developing young leaders and great citizens
•Must have Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent
experience
•At least 10 years of experience working with a civics or educational
organization
•At least 7 years of previous management and supervisory experience
•Understands the importance of non-partisanship civic education and able
to build relationships with leaders across the political spectrum
•Thoughtful and dynamic communicator with exemplary writing skills
•Proven success and history of fundraising for budgets over $1 million
•Collaborates effectively with others to reach common goals and objectives
•Impeccable integrity, judgement, and discretion along with a professional
demeanor and interpersonal style that elicits trust from leadership,
peers, staff, and board members
•Viewed as a leader by his/her peers/colleagues
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
