Who: Artspace Projects
What: The Rafala Green Fellowship is open to people of color and Indigenous people who are interested in becoming the next generation of leaders working at the intersection of arts, real estate, and community development. The program will provide these fellows with the tools to master core competencies that will allow them to advance future complex, arts-centered community development work. Artspace will select four fellows, each for a two-year fellowship.
Rafala Green fellows will work full-time at the Artspace headquarters in Minneapolis, MN and support current projects in the Artspace development pipeline, learn Artspace best practices, gain access to national leaders in the field, and expand their network in a series of professional development activities. Climate Change Philanthropy Fellow, Environment Program – Kresge Foundation (Troy, MI)
Who: The Kresge Foundation works to expand opportunities in America's cities for people with low incomes. This work is done through grantmaking and social investing nationally in arts and culture, education, environment, health, human services and community development in Detroit.
Kresge’s Environment program works to help U.S. cities implement comprehensive climate-resilience approaches grounded in equity. The program helps communities address climate change directly so that they will be better prepared for the new challenges and uncertainties it introduces. By explicitly factoring climate change into decisions about infrastructure investments, land use, building codes, public health and other urban planning issues, urban leaders can make their communities stronger, more equitable and more resilient.
What: The Climate Change Philanthropy Fellow will support the Environment Program in advancing its goal of helping cities implement comprehensive climate-resilience approaches grounded in equity. The fellow will gain experience and insight into institutional philanthropy, climate change policy and advocacy, community development and strategies to incorporate equity firmly in climate change work. This position provides a valuable career development opportunity for an emerging climate change professional as well as added capacity to the Environment Program to fulfil its ambitious goal.
The fellowship is a two-year appointment and is open to those who have completed a minimum of master’s level training in a field related to urban climate resilience, such as environmental studies, public policy or urban planning. We are most interested in candidates whose education has included coursework on climate change mitigation and/or adaptation, urban systems and public policy, and who hold a deep commitment to both environmental work and racial equity. Primary responsibilities include:

GIS Research Analyst - OSU (Columbus, Ohio)

What: CURA seeks a GIS Research Analyst to develop and manage community and campus outreach in GIS, mapping and spatial data analytics. Responsibilities include developing and managing partnerships with community organizations, NGOs and local/state government in areas of strategic importance in the application of GIS and spatial data for policy support, delivering educational and outreach events to promote GIS and The Ohio State University’s urban mission and technical support and management of ESRI software and related resources for campus.

Narrative Impact Analyst - Race Forward (Oakland or NYC) (2 year fellowship)
Who: Race Forward’s mission is to build awareness, solutions, and leadership for racial justice by generating transformative ideas, information, and experiences. We define racial justice as the systematic fair treatment of people of all races, resulting in equitable opportunities and outcomes for all, and we work to advance racial justice through media, research, and leadership development. Race Forward publishes the daily news site Colorlines and presents Facing Race, the country’s largest multiracial conference on racial justice.
What: The Narrative Impact Analyst will provide strategic support to the organization’s efforts to amplify and innovatively measure the impact of the varied racial justice narrative programs of both Race Forward and allied/client organizations. As a member of the organization’s Impact Planning and Evaluation Core Team, the analyst will work under the supervision of the Vice President of Research and alongside staff from Research, Development, and the Narrative and Communications Program (which oversees the daily racial justice news site Colorlines). Duties
As a Mission Assignment Specialist (MASP) in FEMA's Reservist Program, you will be responsible for assisting the Mission Assignment Manager in preparing, tracking, and monitoring Mission Assignments (MAs). Typical assignments include:
- Gather pertinent information to process MAs; Identify and prevent duplicate requests;
- Input Resource Request Form (RRF) information into Enterprise Coordination and Approval Processing Systems (eCAPS) to create and processes MAs;
- Prepare and review MA documents and obtain signatory approvals, as necessary;
- Coordinate the mission statements, cost estimates, and estimated dates of completion with Federal agencies, when assigned;
- Monitor MA Assignment billing and reimbursement.
- Create and maintain accurate MA files for record keeping;
- Prepare amendments to MAs and prepare MA Task Orders, as directed; Provide copies of approved MAs to responsible parties and update status of mission assignments in WebEOC
- This position requires a Public Trust background investigation.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
- Travel will be required.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
- Selective service registration is required.
- You must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for this position, you must possess atleast one of the following:
- Experience coordinating disparate partners and stakeholders under short timelines in a rapidly changing, austere environment to achieve common objectives
- Experience establishing and tracking metrics to measure completion of objectives and tasks
- Experience participating in incident action planning processes that identify resources and work assignments and supporting documents that provided direction and information for management of the incident
