MPC seeks a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Associate with strong digital media, design, and project management skills. Core Duties: 

 

  • Content Creation and Design 
  • Design and produce visually engaging marketing materials, including social media graphics, event flyers, infographics, and email templates, following established brand guidelines. 
  • Support the development of digital newsletters, email campaigns, and website content, ensuring consistent quality and tone. 
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media Management 
  • Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics to inform improvements. 
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement, including SEO and accessibility optimization. 
  • Website Maintenance 
  • Update and maintain the MPC website through WordPress, including creating new pages and optimizing existing content for performance and accessibility. 
  • Event Support 
  • Assist in planning and executing in-person and virtual events, focusing on materials production, event promotion, and logistical coordination. 
  • Media Support 
  • Compile media lists, track media coverage, and support the Manager in responding to media inquiries and outreach efforts. 
  • Data and Analytics 
  • Generate monthly analytics reports for digital campaigns, social media, and website performance, providing actionable insights to the Manager. 
  • Oversee and manage MPC list serve, ensuring it is current and accurate. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must embrace the mission and vision of MPC. 
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Suite and Canva) and digital marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing software like MailChimp). 
  • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.

Compensation and Benefits:    

Salary Range: $61,800- $64,000

Marketing and Development Coordinator - Austin Coming Together

Position Description

Engagement Manager, MxD

Who: MxD

What: The Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading MxD’s programming initiatives as well as managing a range of engagement and communications activities. Programming responsibilities will include developing and executing a strategy for in-person, virtual, and hybrid workshops and webinars to deliver relevant content to MxD’s manufacturing ecosystem. Member communication support will include activities like developing member success stories, sourcing member insights, and grant writing. Support for engagement activities will include managing member inquiries, providing onsite assistance for member events and preparing the senior leadership team for a variety of member interactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven record for delivering highly successful thought leadership and experiential events and would have demonstrated success working cross-functionally with technical/engineering and marketing teams. This position is ideal for a self-starter who has a passion for relationship building and an ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and distill them into a straightforward narrative that resonates with stakeholders ranging from engineers to executives. This candidate should like working in fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Leads a holistic programming strategy that aligns programs with marketing and project strategies driving engagement prior, during, and after events
  • Leads the project management of event logistics and planning including managing partners, speakers, and contracted resources/vendors as well as aligning with the communication and the corporate events teams on all event-related communications and logistics
  • Collaborates with the MxD programs and technical teams to research and identify potential event speakers, exhibitors, and attendees

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 6 years of experience in B2B event planning, experiential marketing, communications, corporate, startup, or non-profit, preferably in the technology sector
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; exceptional ability to communicate and present to senior-level staff
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and use good judgment when resolving issues

Portfolio Management Assistant - Chicago Community Loan Fund

The Portfolio Management Assistant provides critical and substantive support to CCLF’s lending,
marketing and portfolio management programs, enjoying a wide range of duties and responsibilities. The position supports the work of the Director of Portfolio Management (DPM) and the Portfolio Management Team, but also provides specific support to the Director of Lending. The position includes direct and indirect contact with and service to our applicants, borrowers and investors.
  • Serve as the liaison in the Portfolio Management Department between the Lending and Finance and Accounting teams for a variety of matters.
  • Assist the DPM with gathering borrower information for loan renewal and restructure
  • Schedule site visits and meetings with borrowers as needed (managed by DPM)
  • Process and track draw requests according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounting team to reconcile month end Portfolio Numbers and ensure account accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly routine and delinquent invoices to borrowers
  • Prepare materials and take minutes for all Loan Committee, Special Assets Committee, and Enterprise Risk Management Committee meetings and schedule other small meetings as needed
  • Manage monthly monitoring of customer accounts, record payments, maintaining credit files, borrower insurance and tax compliance, real estate tax payments, UCC filings, deposit account verifications, etc.
  • Assist with borrower compliance as necessary
  • Serve as the primary contact person on the Portfolio Management Team for investor compliance reports (managed by Director of Portfolio Management)
  • Collect, audit and report social impact data on all loans regularly and communicate data to the appropriate teams
  • Maintain portfolio reports and analyses for both internal and external use (e.g. Loan Portfolio Ratings Report, portfolio segmentation, charge-offs tracking, repaid loans tracking, collateral tracking, etc.)
  • Produce and distribute periodic borrower mailings (e.g. surveys) with supervision from DPM Assist with the maintenance of the loan portfolio databases (including borrower addresses) and credit files
  • Conduct loan inquiry/intake calls and report the information to the Director of Lending (DOL)
  • Schedule follow up calls from the loan inquiries for the DOL.
  • Manage the Deal Flow spreadsheet
  • Assist with Technical Assistance programs, workshops, and reporting
  • Co-lead the annual CDFI Fund application (in cooperation with External Relations Officer and other staff)
  • Research programs and initiatives of interest to CCLF as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned 
Nature Scope of Working Relationships
The Portfolio Management Assistant position requires maintaining working relationships with fellow team members; borrowers; potential clients; consultants; vendors; financial institutions; other public/private sector institutions; peers in the field of community development; and committee volunteers. This position reports to the Vice President of Lending but also works with direction from the Senior Portfolio Management Officer.

Major Challenges/Performance Measures
The major challenge of this position is to provide prompt, accurate and superb customer service to a wide array of stakeholders including investors, borrowers and senior management; while insuring a high level of accuracy and quality in loan portfolio reporting.

Performance measures include: maintaining a depth of knowledge of each loan/borrower; proactive and timely problem solving; outstanding customer service; accurate reporting across the organization; and maintaining current, accurate, and organized loan management system and credit files.

Qualifications

Chief of External Relations - Friends of the High Line - NYC

Position Summary

The Chief of External Relations (CER) is a newly created position at FHL working as part of a leadership management team with the Executive Director (ED) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The position is responsible for advancing the visibility, brand, and financial sustainability of the High Line.

Reporting to the ED, the Chief of External Relations is tasked with creating and executing a strategic, integrated, and comprehensive fundraising and communications plan that advances the organization's mission: for the High Line to continue to inspire visitors, engage both New Yorkers and its immediate neighbors, and remain a model for urban design and place-making worldwide. In partnership with the ED, the CER is the primary external fundraiser as well as communications and brand strategist for the FHL.

The CER strategizes and supervises all development and fundraising functions with a staff of 14 and strategically positions the organization through a communications and marketing staff of 7. The CER is FHL's liaison for board development and relationship management, and is responsible for working with the COO to ensure the highest standards of good governance. The Development department currently includes initiatives in Major Gifts, Membership, Corporate Sponsorship, Special Events, and Foundation & Government Support.

Responsibilities
Development and Fundraising
  • Design, implement, lead, and hold accountable the annual fundraising strategies and goals for FHL in pursuit of achieving fiscal success
  • Work with the ED as a lead fundraising partner while expanding the constituency for major gifts and deepening and institutionalizing existing relationships
  • Take an external leadership role in directly soliciting major gifts from all sources
  • Help transition the board of FHL towards becoming a more consistent partner in donor relations, identification of new donors, and, when appropriate, peer solicitors
  • Cultivate donors, board members, volunteers, and community leaders for the future well-being of FHL
  • Work with the ED and VP of Development as responsible for day-to-day management of development staff by motivating and supporting their efforts to achieve goals, assume responsibility for portfolios, and plan and track engagement strategies and financial outcomes
  • Work with senior leadership and program content staff to identify funding opportunities and match those needs with donor interests
  • Position FHL so that a proper climate exists in order to raise funds and prepare tailored external communications for diverse audiences
  • Maintain a visible role in the community in order to demonstrate the FHL's commitment to maintaining a free public space for all New Yorkers
Marketing, Communications, Community Relations
  • Strategically shape and lead the identity, brand, communications platform, and delivery efforts of FHL
  • Craft and oversee external communications strategies and press relations
  • Visibly position and promote FHL's programs and content expertise to expand and deepen audience engagement
  • Strategically evolve and shape FHL's brand and deliver on its promise internally and externally while adhering to its core voice, image, and mark
  • Incorporate analytics in shaping strategic positioning
  • Promote revenue centers to increase financial support
  • Develop partnerships that align with FHL's brand and elevate its position and visibility, and when appropriate, increase revenue
  • Lead the internal strategy for City relationships and, with the ED, be the external voice, negotiator, and interface with this essential partner
Administrative
  • Be an essential member of the Executive Director's leadership team, supporting and advancing the vision for FHL and inspiring and communicating that vision internally to enable others within the organization to have a clear sense of their roles and expectations for achieving their work
  • Act on behalf of the Executive Director internally and externally, as requested
  • Supervise and evaluate staff in fundraising, marketing, and communications
  • Support the preparation and administration of the annual operational budget for both Development and Communications
  • Work closely with the COO and Vice President of Finance to fully embrace the financial needs of FHL and anticipate long-term needs for fundraising
  • Work with outside consultants, as needed
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive management experience preferably in an arts- or member-based cultural organization
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for the High Line, public space, and public/private partnerships
  • Significant senior level development and external communications experience, including planning and running capital campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize, set and meet fundraising and communications goals, and work effectively with donors, from prospect development through to the cultivation and closing of gifts
  • Ability to solicit gifts at the leadership level and to develop and implement a coordinated, comprehensive advancement strategy that includes donors from the individual, foundation, corporate, and government levels
  • Track record of recruiting, developing, advocating for, and managing cohesive, high-caliber teams that work in partnership with senior leadership and trustees to ratchet up development and communications functionality
  • Experience crafting and implementing marketing and public relations strategy for an institution with an ability to strategically position an organization among its peers and with its audience
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
