Job Description

About Seedco:

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in New York City, Seedco is a $60 million national nonprofit organization that advances economic opportunity for people, businesses, and communities in need through three lines of work: workforce development, work and family supports, and services for small business. Working on these issues for more than two decades, Seedco designs and implements innovative programs, partnerships, and services to impact vibrant community development. Seedco’s work is guided by the belief that community-based organizations (CBOs) have the experience, history, community trust, and cultural competence to best provide direct services to residents in low-income and underinvested neighborhoods—but often lack the infrastructure or national presence to advocate for systemic change. Thus Seedco has worked as an intermediary with over 300 government and nonprofit agencies across the country. Seedco also provides consulting services and technical assistance to a number of entities, including federal agencies. Moreover, a significant portion of Seedco’s revenue is generated from government sources (federal, multiple state and municipalities). For more information about Seedco go to www.seedco.org.
