Graduate Hourly Note taking position

Employment Opportunity for Graduate Students

I am Vandana, Ph.D candidate in Social Work and Disability Studies currently writing my dissertation. I have a visual disability, and I am looking for a Grad student (preferably Ph.D. student) who would be interested in assisting me with reading work for the Spring semester. The work is for 8 to 10 hours per week (no tuition wavers!), and entails assisting with internet research (such as online library databases); scanning; and some editing. Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software will be a plus.

The person will be paid a graduate hourly rate (approximately $16/hour) by UIC. It will be a great research experience, as one would get exposure to the dissertation process, international development issues and diverse forms of knowledge.

If you are interested, please contact me via email: vchaud1@uic.edu, or call 312-451-3884 (cell), or 312-733-3884 (LL). I look forward to hearing from you.

Work to start from the Spring 2011 semester.
