INTERNSHIP: NAVTEQ Quality Testing

NAVTEQ Quality Testing Intern

SUMMARY OF JOB
1) Quality Testing prep work in ArcGIS.
2) Analysis of Point of Interest data (data inputting into a PDA).
3) Extracting destinations from a number of sources (e.g. internet).
4) Enter destinations into different Navigation Systems.

REQUIREMENTS
1) Completed or completing a bachelor's degree in Geography (or related
subject).
2) Good knowledge of ArcGIS - ArcMap/ArcInfo/ArcPad (required). Able to
undertake geo-processing techniques (e.g. clipping, merging).
3) Competent in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
4) Knowledge of MS Access is desirable.
5) Strong verbal communication skills (must speak/write English).
6) Ability to manage own work schedule and adhere to deadlines.
7) High attention to detail.

The position is 40 hours/week.
