Environmental Projects Analyst - Water Department, City of Santa Cruz

ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS ANALYST-Water Department
City of Santa Cruz

$4,135 - $6,109 Monthly

Assists in the oversight and coordination of the City's water
resource programs, including general environmental regulatory
compliance work. Current vacancy is in the Engineering Section.
Tasks may include: manage the entrainment study for the desalination
intake design; manage the consultant hired to write the EIR for the
desalination plant; coordinate and participate in the application
for all permits for the desalination plant; write notices of
exemption and notices of preparation for all capital projects; and
contract and manage CEQA consultants for any Water Department
capital improvement projects.

Typical qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology,
chemistry, environmental science or a related field & two years of
experience in the coordination of environmental programs,
environmental compliance programs or related areas.
