Director of Finances and Business Operations

Campus Auxiliary Services is seeking candidates interested in the position of Director of Finance and Business Operations.

The Director of Finance and Business Operations is a member of the senior leadership team, reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs/Director of Campus Auxiliary Services, and is responsible for financial operations of Campus Auxiliary Services units. The position evaluates financial and business policies and programs and assists in determining units' priorities and strategies to increase revenue, manage expenses, and assure that budget targets are met. Position responsibilities include interfacing with the Office of Business Affairs, the Office of Business Administrative IT Services, the Office of University Audits, and other university units on financial matters. The position also manages cashiering services throughout Campus Auxiliary Services.

The position requires the candidate to be skillful in strategic planning and goal setting, experienced in budget preparation, financial management, and fiscal analysis. Also required are strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Masters in Business Administration and ten years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting for a large complex organization. A CPA is strongly preferred.

A history of strong leadership and communications should be demonstrated and experience dealing with internal and external contingencies in procurement, legal environments, governmental departments, and agencies.
