Assistant Professor - Tenure Track

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC LAW


The Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Dakota seeks a dynamic individual for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in our department. This benefited position will begin in August, 2012. This position is considered a core member of our NASPAA-accredited MPA program, and the successful candidate will teach two courses in the MPA curriculum, including administrative law. The second course is open but could be our survey course in public administration. The successful candidate will also be expected to have a research emphasis connected to one of the courses they teach in the MPA program, provide service to the program, and have the ability to teach constitutional law and American government at the undergraduate level. The teaching load for this position is 3/2. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research and teaching experience in the fields of public administration and public law.


A.B.D. or Ph.D required and teaching experience is desired.
