Community Surveyor
Saint Anthony Hospital is seeking multiple surveyors to participate in a 3-4 week project beginning Monday 11/8. Surveyors will participate in neighborhood assessments of housing stock and the conditions of infrastructure. Participants will be part of a team which will be tasked with driving the neighborhoods of Little Village, Pilsen, and Back Of the Yards. Teams will photograph every property and note specific characteristics as outlined during training sessions held on Monday 11/8. Ideally applicants will be available to work daylight hours Monday through Friday from 11/8 – 11/30 (excluding thanksgiving holiday). Based upon the number of applicants, we may be open to part-time participation.
Surveyors will be paid $25/hr and may qualify for bonus payments based upon speed and quality of team goals.
Applicants should be graduates or graduate eligible in 2011 from accredited architecture or urban planning programs. Applicants must be available to attend training and begin work on Monday 11/8/2010. Applicants must have a digital camera with downloading capabilities.
