Job Description
Texas A&M University – Corpus Christ (TAMUCC) is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member in their Public Administration Program. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, demonstrated teaching competence, and ability to cover a full range of topics in core offerings in the Masters of Public Administration program and in one of our program tracks which include Non-Profit and Public Administration Leadership, Homeland Security, and Environmental Science. The successful candidate will also be someone who has an active research agenda, particularly with an applied research focus, and grant writing abilities which complement our course offerings and University mission. In addition, the candidate should have a praxis approach to Public Administration education, interest in facilitating service learning at the graduate level, and experience with on-line course delivery systems. The candidate hired will hold a doctoral degree in one of the following fields: Public Administration/Affairs, Public Management, Public Policy, Management and Leadership Studies, Urban Planning, or Political Science at the time of appointment.
