Kracower & Associates Inc. is seeking an entry, mid-level Landscape Architect, Architect or Planner with 2-4 years of professional experience in the private sector who will become part of our talented professional office. Under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager you will assist in projects throughout every phase of real estate development including, land use analysis, land planning, client presentations, zoning, and landscape architecture. We provide professional real estate consulting, land planning and landscape architectural services to developers, land owners, engineers, architects, corporations and prominent real estate attorneys in the Chicagoland area. Our diverse practice includes residential, office, senior housing, industrial and master planned communities. Skills Required: Professional Skill Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong background with various computer software including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite and SketchUp. Strong landscape design, physical land planning, writing and graphic skills are necessary along with the ability to communicate your ideas verbally. Comprehensive knowledge in landscape architectural design, LEED principals and construction methods is preferred for this position. Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to multi-task is required to succeed in our professional office. Education Requirements: The successful candidate will have a BA / BS or MLA in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Urban Planning from an accredited program.
