RSG Analyst – Job Announcement

Rosenow Spevacek Group Inc. (RSG) is a creatively charged counterpart to California cities and public agencies. As a consultant to over 100 local government agencies and developers, we are seeking an Analyst to assist with economic development, real estate, and government services projects. RSG is expanding the Southern California headquarters with people that have a relentless passion for improving communities, are creative and entrepreneurial problem solvers and have experience in areas of local government finances, real estate, economic development and/or affordable housing projects.

COMPENSATION:
Salary commensurate with experience, along with an excellent benefits.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Policy & Planning, Social Ecology, Economics, Public Administration, Real Estate, and/or other related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of one-year full-time employment in real estate finance, planning, economic development, affordable housing, economics, public administration, or related field.. However, any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.
Abilities: Perform professional economic development / finance / real estate analysis as assigned; respond to difficult and sensitive client inquiries; analyze and compile technical and statistical information and prepare reports; understand and carry out oral and written directions; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients contacted through the course of work. Must have strong excel, word and power point capabilities. Applicant must have a car, a valid California Driver’s license and proof of car insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Analyst, under general/limited supervision of the Principal, serves to provide information and assistance to Senior Staff and clients. Analysts are expected to conduct data collection, complex analysis and research; GIS and mapping coordination; document preparation; and coordination with city, county or client staff.
