Lisa Wise Consulting, Inc. (LWC), a land use planning and economics
consulting leader, seeks a full-time Senior Associate with technical
planning and management skills and experience.  LWC is in a strong
growth mode and this opportunity includes helping take the firm to the
next level of growth and attainment.  The position is based out of
LWC’s San Francisco office and reports directly to the owners of the
firm.

LWC was founded in 2006 and has grown to a staff of 10.  LWC’s
corporate culture is marked by a commitment to: collaboration, 100%
client satisfaction and the highest quality work product.  The firm
focuses on long-range planning (land development code, master plans,
and specific plans), form-based and hybrid codes, economic and
financial feasibility analysis and strategies, housing and a growing

The ideal candidate will have at least eight (8) years of increasingly
responsible experience in the planning field, a track record of
managing complex projects, mentoring and supervising junior staff,
sourcing and pursuing new business.  The ideal candidate will also
have superior writing and public presentation skills, and thrive on a
team of highly motivated and capable individuals who seek personal and
professional advancement.  Familiarity with basic corporate finance
and business management is a plus.  A master’s degree in land use
planning or related field is preferred but experience may be
substituted for education.

LWC’s compensation package includes a competitive salary and benefits
commensurate with the skill and experience of the candidate.

Responsibilities include:

· Leading technical planning projects, communication with
clients and agencies, assuring deadlines are met, budgets are
adhered to and staff and sub consultants have clear direction.

· Leading new business development, identification,
evaluation, pursuit, and procurement.

· Maintaining profitability of projects through efficient and
appropriate direction of staff and subconsultant time and project
management planning.

· Building relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry leaders.

· Mentoring, training and supervising junior staff.

· Leading public meetings and presentations on behalf of the company.

· Contributing to corporate strategy formulation and implementation.

· Managing multiple assignments.
