The Department of Geography, Planning and Environment invites applications for one tenure-track position in Urban Planning and Design. The candidate should hold a PhD in Planning or a closely-related field and be eligible for membership in the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate planning classes, including a studio course, and contribute to the Department’s established research strengths in cities and sustainability. S/he will also supervise graduate research in Urban Studies and Planning. While teaching is in English, fluency in French is desired for communication with local communities and planners.
