Assistant Professor
The School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in public management beginning in fall 2015. The successful candidate will have a PhD in public administration, political science, sociology, or a related discipline with an emphasis on nonprofit management. The field is open, but with a preference for candidates with training/backgrounds in organization theory and demonstrated skills in quantitative analysis. Candidates will contribute to teaching non-profit management courses in the School’s Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program. In addition, the candidate will be expected to have a strong and active research program that will support the mentoring of PhD students, contribute to teaching PhD seminars, and is reflected in an excellent publication record.
