National association seeks a communications and outreach associate to manage relations with key external partners, coalitions and allied organizations. The Communications Associate will be part of the APA policy, government affairs and communications team, but will also work across APA departments to support strategic partnerships and coalitions. The position will also provide primary support for key communications, advocacy and research initiatives and special projects involving external organizations and coalitions.
The position will contribute director to the development of grassroots advocacy communications training and resources. Requires two to three years of relevant professional experience. Send cover letter, resume and writing sample to govtaffairs@planning.org. Position closes November 3, 2014.
