Incumbent serves as a Secretary (Office Automation) performing the
following duties:

   - Receive calls and screen visitors; determine nature of requests and
   refer callers or visitors to appropriate staff or personally provide
   routine of procedural information
   - Provide answers to routine or non-technical requests for information,
   such as status reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance
   - Receive calls and screen visitors; determine nature of requests and

   routine of procedural information
   - Prepare travel arrangements taking into consideration established
   travel regulations and guidelines and complete vouchers after travel has
   been completed
   - Utilize a variety of Microsoft Office suite system's to include
   Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint,
   and Microsoft Outlook
   - Prepare a variety of correspondence ensuring correct punctuation,
   capitalization, spelling, grammar and conformance to style

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

GS-9:  Have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the
GS-08 grade level in the Federal service arranging and coordinating
meetings, and appointments; maintaining a senior official's calendar and
schedule; performing travel related activities (i.e. scheduling, processing
vouchers, etc.); and preparing documents and reports using automated system
software such as Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Access and Outlook calendar.

AND

Type 40 words per minute based on a five minute sample with three or fewer
errors.
