GIS Analyst 
Well capitalized real estate and land development company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced GIS Specialist to be part of our team that is master-planning 40 square miles on the Pacific coast—one of the most important environmental projects in California.
You will also enjoy a better quality of life at our corporate offices in Lake Arrowhead, California.
The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree(s) with emphasis in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning and/or Landscape Architecture with at least 3 to 6 years of experience. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and work with geospatial databases 40 plus hours per week.
  • GIS based mapping, analysis and evaluation of hydrological, geological, biological, cultural, and other natural resources associated with land development.
  • Detailed environmental constraints planning and analysis with attention to minimizing development impacts.
  • Maintaining project resource database file and coordinate all GIS data file flow in and out form a variety of sources.
  • Preform QA/QC on products and approved associated invoicing based on delivery.
  • Work with in-house 60” plotter to assist with packaging of and map production for various entitlement processing
  • Ability to perform numerous revisions as needed in coordination with owners, consulting team, and processing with public agencies.
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent mapping skills with strong graphic design.
  • Mastery of ArcGIS 10.3.1 and working knowledge of ArcGIS extensions primarily 3D Analyst, ModelBuilder, and ArcServer.
  • Operations, maintenance and dataset creation from GPS units (GeoExplorerXH6000) with TerraSync and GPS Pathfinder Office software.
  • Knowledge of 3D Analyst, Network Analyst, and programing languages (Python, Visual Studio) is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills & solution oriented personality
  • Excellent verbal communication and good organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 2010 (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus
  • General computer, plotters, AutoCAD, and other office business machines
