An Associate Principal at Civic Consulting Alliance has the responsibility to work with public and private sector leaders across the region to understand the biggest challenges and determine the viability of change. Once identified, Associate Principals are responsible for leading projects, working with internal staff, public sector clients, and private sector partners. Associate Principals are also responsible for growing the long-term impact of Civic Consulting, consistent with CCA’s mission and values.
Associate Principals report jointly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Principals team.
Associate Principals have an opportunity to:
  • Lead high-impact projects for the city of Chicago, one of its Sister Agencies, the County and State, working side-by-side with Civic Consulting colleagues, senior executives in government and private sector leaders.
  • Partner with senior executives in city, county and state government to identify challenges and develop solutions across Education, Healthcare, Public Safety, and Economic Growth.
  • Work with the CEO and Principals to architect solutions and oversee implementation.
  • Manage partnerships with leading private sector firms and companies.
  • Coach colleagues, and at the same time receive mentoring from civic leaders across the region.
  • Serve on the Management Team of Civic Consulting Alliance 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: An experienced professional with a minimum of five years of business management experience. Experience with a strategic management consulting firm is preferred, but not required.
EDUCATION: A Master’s degree in business, public policy, public affairs or related field is preferred.

Full-Time Contractor Position starting January 2016

Luxury Living Chicago Realty, the top luxury rental brokerage in downtown Chicago, is now hiring a Business Manager to support our Brokerage and Exclusive Leasing Divisions. The Business Manager will manage a team of experienced brokers and oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage, including lead flow, client communications, goal tracking, and strategic planning. The Business Manager will also support the continued growth of our Exclusive Leasing Division, including the creation and maintenance of a staffing calendar and monthly/quarterly reports on leasing velocity and agent performance. The Business Manager will report to and support the Director of Operations and Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Business Manager Responsibilities

·     Oversee daily operations of the Brokerage Division, including lead distribution, client experience, customer service, team communications, and broker performance
·     Serve as the primary contact for our Brokerage team, including regular one-on-one meetings with brokers, follow-ups on performance improvements, and management of team dynamics
·     Daily management of company CRM and client pipeline
·     Emphasis on customer service across all communications with clients and team members
·     Creation of monthly schedules for Project Managers and Residential Consultants on the Exclusive Leasing Division, in coordination with the Director of Operations
·     Monthly and quarterly reports on leasing performance and velocity at multifamily properties within the portfolio of the Exclusive Leasing Division
·     Collaborate on long-term plans for the continued growth of the Exclusive Leasing Division
·     Identify opportunities for improved performance of team members in both divisions
·     Additional responsibilities as needed to improve company workflow, communications, and growth

Skills and Requirements
·     Bachelors degree with 5+ years of real estate management, sales management, account management or hospitality experience
·     Valid leasing agent or broker license in the State of Illinois (or willingness to obtain within 120 days)
·     Ability to multitask and work across a variety of platforms and channels to track client data
·     Experience with CRM maintenance and sales tracking
·     Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software and online platforms
·     Professional and personable with great communication and time management skills
·     Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
·     Available to work evenings and weekends on a set monthly schedule
·     Smart phone AND laptop computer for work purposes
·     Reliable access to a car is a plus
