The City of Everett is seeking a highly motivated individual as a hands-on manager for the appointive position of Long Range Planning Manager.
Under the direction of the Planning & Community Development Director, manage the day to day functions of the city's long range planning programs.
Duties include directing the development and implementation of the city's comprehensive plan, growth management program, and shoreline master programs.
The Long Range Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating growth management efforts with the county, special purpose districts and cities in Snohomish County.
Considerable discretion and authority over the execution of details, development of policy, and accomplishment of program objectives is given to the Manager.
Work is reviewed through management team conferences and written reports.
Supervisory responsibility includes Long Range Planning staff and GIS support staff.
