Impact Sciences, Inc. is seeking an Associate Principal in both our Pasadena and Oakland offices. The Associate Principal is an executive-level management position for qualified professionals with 10 to 20 years of relevant work experience. In collaboration with Principals of the firm, the Associate Principal is responsible for the firm’s largest and most high profile projects, including projects that are highly complex and/or technically sophisticated. The Associate Principal must have an aptitude for development and mentoring of staff and potentially, the management of an office, group, or region. The person in this position will represent the firm at client meetings, hearings, and conferences. The Associate Principal should be comfortable critiquing the work of technical staff and subconsultants in a meaningful way. This person should be team oriented, highly motivated, and enjoyable to work with. The Associate Principal should be equally comfortable managing projects and working in a team, and either writing or reviewing sections of environmental documents. The Associate Principal is independently responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships. Client maintenance and the acquisition of new work is a requirement of the Associate Principal position.
The Associate Principal is expected to be part of the firm’s Executive Committee. This position could also have an equity position with the firm.
