The University of Kansas (KU) School of Public Affairs & Administration invites applications for an assistant
professor, tenure‐track position in Law & Society (the search is open with regard to specialization.) The position
is expected to begin as early as August 18, 2016. KU seeks to hire outstanding scholars in the areas of law and
society. Candidates should have a strong research agenda, a commitment to graduate and undergraduate
teaching, and a strong commitment to professional service.
The University of Kansas School of Public Affairs & Administration (SPAA) is a top‐ranked research and teaching

• Ph.D., ABD, or terminal degree in Law & Society, Public Administration, or a related field expected by the start date of the appointment (08‐18‐2016).
• Demonstration for high potential in research and publications.
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
