The Center for Organization Research and Design at Arizona State University seeks to employ a
postdoctoral researcher to work with ASU researchers on a project entitled "Institutional Design
for Public Value." The project is directed by Professor Barry Bozeman, CORD director, in
collaboration with ASU President Michael Crow. The postdoc holder will report to and
collaborate with Bozeman and other ASU faculty and graduate students.
The successful applicant will have excellent writing skills and fluency with English, willingness to collaborate and work with teams. It is not expected that applicants will be specialists in public values theory or research but that they will have a strong interest in learning about public values issues in public administration and policy. No teaching is required for the position but opportunities for teaching may be available if desired. A doctoral degree is required but there is not restriction on academic discipline. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in producing high quality, publishable, academic research.
The position is for 9 months or one year, negotiable. The postdoctoral appointment pays $45,000 for nine months, plus benefits. U.S citizenship is not required. There is a possibility of extension after the first appointment. The appointment can be immediately but must be effective no later than January, 2016. Assistant professors interested in one-year leave are also welcome to apply.
Applicants should send an email expressing interest, a CV, and names of two references, along with contact information, to Professor Bozeman via email: bbozeman@asu.edu. For information about CORD see https://cord.asu.edu/
