About the Job
Planner II The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission seeks a Planner II to work in its Planning and Community Development Division. Under general supervision, the Planner II will work in a wide variety of professional planning projects including but not limited to: data collection, interpretation and presentation; comprehensive planning; grant research and writing; preparation of community development grant applications; and economic development. This is a full time (37.5 hours/week) position with benefits. Salary based on experience; $22.49/hr. minimum. Minimum qualifications: Experience with ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, website design and maintenance, and Microsoft Office products required. Master's Degree in Urban Planning or similar educational experience plus one year of work experience in planning desired.
