The Department of Political Science’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor of public administration and political science, beginning in the Fall of 2015. The successful candidate will teach two courses per semester, including core curriculum seminars in public administration, a public administration seminar based on the successful candidate’s research interests for graduate students in the MPA program, and courses for advanced undergraduate majors in political science. Applicants with interests in comparative and American subfields of public administration and political science are encouraged to apply, particularly those with scholarly interests related to Latin America, experience teaching civil servants and public policy professionals, experience with NASPAA accreditation and/or participation in online course development/instruction.

The program is housed in the Department of Political Science. Minimum Requirements: PhD in political science, public administration, or related field (ABD candidates will be considered). Review of applications begins November 10, 2014, but applications are welcome until the position is filled.
