Lecturer (full-time) in City and Regional Planning, one position for the 2015-2016 academic year, with possibility of renewal. The teaching assignment includes laboratory (studio) and lecture courses in urban development and design and community plan making. Candidates should have professional experience in planning and be able to teach community-based studios. Project based learning is the preferred teaching model. Area of specialization is open, but candidates with expertise in land use planning, plan implementation, housing, and history of city development and design are of particular interest. Ability to offer courses in a second planning area such as plan implementation, introduction to city planning, sustainable development, and/or resilient neighborhoods is desired. 

Minimum Qualifications: one academic degree in urban planning, architecture, or landscape architecture, a Masters degree in these or a related field; and a minimum of three years professional and/or teaching experience in the field of planning, architecture, landscape architecture, including supervision of project work. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Preferred Profile and qualifications: Teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate level. Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated research/practice interests are desired.
