Overview:
The Urban and Environmental Planning Discipline within the Griffith School of Environment delivers undergraduate and post graduate planning programs on the Nathan campus and undergraduate planning programs on the Gold Coast campus. These programs are accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia and maintains strong links with the planning profession and industry.

This is a continuing, full time position based primarily at the Nathan campus, however the successful applicant may also be required to work at the Gold Coast campus.
The role:
The successful applicant will have a PhD in urban planning or equivalent demonstrated professional experience. The appointee will plan, convene and teach courses in areas such as environmental management and assessment, planning practice and planning/environmental law. The successful applicant will have demonstrated ability to supervise Honours and research higher degree students.

The person:
The appointees must have a doctoral degree in the Information Technology or closely related field and have considerable experience in teaching and research expertise in relevant aspects of the field.

Salary range:
Lecturer, Level B: $86,754 - $103,024 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $101,503 - $120,538 per annum.
