Full Circle Communities (FCC) is a non-profit developer, owner, and manager of affordable housing
founded in 1999 as a fully philanthropic organization dedicated to the provision of housing and supportive  services to residents in need.  Our offices are located in Northbrook, IL.  After 14 years in operation, FCC  owns and manages 650 units in Carol Stream, IL and Naples, FL and is pursuing new construction  opportunities in the City of Chicago, throughout Illinois, and other states.

Position Summary:  FCC is seeking a qualified Development Intern with a passion for affordable housing  to assist the Development staff with analytical duties and activities of the Development Department. The position will entail real estate and financial analysis, entitlement and finance application, and database  management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyze real estate for potential development
• Help analyze funding sources
• Facilitate data entry and GIS information
• Assist Development team with financing and entitlement applications
• Other duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements:
• Currently pursuing/recent graduate of a masters degree in urban planning, business, or real estate
• Interest in nonprofit operations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Very detail-oriented and organized
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Familiarity with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and real estate financial analysis
• Database and data entry experience preferred, but not required
• Some travel

Time Commitment: 20+ hrs per week, flexible, starting ASAP
Compensation:  $10/hr
Location:  500 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, IL 60062
